At Beach Community Acupuncture (BCA), we want you to feel your very best. Our mission is to provide affordable, effective acupuncture to people in Ocean Beach and our surrounding communities. At $20 a treatment ($30 the first time), you can afford to feel better! We are devoted to helping people find their new "normal." For more on our clinic, please click here.
Book an Appointment.
Make an appointment just for you, or bring in a friend or family member. Use the "book now" button on this site or call us at 619-224-2442. We are open Monday-Friday from 9am-1pm and 3-7 pm, and Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-1pm. If you cannot get an appointment at the time you want, call us! We can usually fit you in. Print out forms here and bring them with you to save time.
News...
* BCA will be closed Monday, May 28th for the Memorial Day holiday. We will be open over that weekend, however.

Se Habla Español... BCA has two fluent Spanish speakers. Our acupuncturist Miriam offers treatment Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3-7pm and Sunday from 9am-1PM. Our receptionist Kristine is here Fridays from 9-7 and Saturdays from 9am-1pm. Take note of these times if you prefer to come to acupuncture when someone is there to communicate with you in Spanish!

Because we are getting so busy, we do need to enforce our cancellation policy. If you have an appointment, we are saving that chair just for you. If you cancel, please call us with at least 24 hours notice (or as soon as possible in an emergency). The fee for missing the appointment without notice is $20. Just let us know if you can't make it in.
* Please call us if you are going to be late for your appointment. It's important as we work to fit everyone in.
* Please don't bring your child(ren) to acupuncture with you...we don't have a place for them to play or staff to watch them, and you won't be able to fully relax.

That brings our costs down...which means that you'll pay just $20 per treatment (plus $10 paperwork fee at your first visit). More about us.

We have set up our studio and fee structure to make acupuncture accessible and enjoyable for you. Your part is to come receive treatment as often as needed to get better and stay better. Many health conditions are chronic and will require multiple treatments. Part of the reason we make each treatment affordable is so that you can receive enough acupuncture to really make a difference in your condition.

Acupuncture Saved My Life
After two major abdominal surgeries in two months, my gastroenterology specialist doctors were convinced I'd need another surgery. My prognosis was guarded, and there was very little the doctors could do, being that my condition is so rare. I went in to BCA in tears, and pretty much faithless.
